Venezuelan Limbo is a personal project documenting the plight of Venezuelan migrants stranded in Guatemala and Central America. This story unfolds the challenges they face—compelled to beg or work on the streets to finance their journey to the United States—after having crossed the Darien jungle and encountered violence and extortion throughout their arduous journey.
Those with remaining funds attempt to traverse Guatemala in a single day, resting for a night at the migrant house [Casa del Migrante] in Guatemala City.
